What is being tested?
Thyroid Function (TSH/T4)
Your thyroid controls metabolism, energy production, and body temperature. An underactive thyroid is a common cause of persistent fatigue, weight gain, and feeling constantly cold.
Ferritin
Measures your body's iron stores. Low ferritin is one of the most common causes of unexplained fatigue, poor exercise recovery, and reduced concentration.
B12
Essential for energy production, nerve function, and red blood cell formation. Deficiency causes profound fatigue, brain fog, and weakness that won't improve with rest alone.
Folate
Works with B12 to produce energy and healthy red blood cells. Low folate can cause fatigue, poor concentration, and reduced stamina throughout the day.
Iron
Carries oxygen to every cell in your body. Low iron causes exhaustion, breathlessness during exercise, and reduced physical and mental performance.
Vitamin D
Critical for energy, immune function, muscle strength, and mood. Deficiency is extremely common and causes fatigue, muscle weakness, and low mood, especially in winter months.
Total Testosterone
A key hormone affecting energy, motivation, muscle mass, and mental drive. Low testosterone commonly causes persistent fatigue, reduced stamina, and loss of vitality in both men and women.
Cortisol
Your body's stress hormone that follows a daily pattern to regulate energy and alertness. Abnormal cortisol levels from chronic stress can cause fatigue, poor sleep, and feeling "wired but tired."
Magnesium
Essential for energy production, muscle function, and sleep quality. Deficiency causes fatigue, muscle cramps, poor sleep, and reduced exercise performance.
