At its heart our mission is simple: to try and help as many people as possible feel better. Since inception and for the last 6 years, we've tried to make the best supplements and products we can - to help us achieve our goal.
Now - we enter a new phase, unlocking the power of your most important health markers and our team's medical expertise to help you track and optimise your health.
Our view: that everybody should be able to access clinical and medical assistance and solutions - where needed - that help prevent future medical issues and hopefully extend your "healthspan" - not just your longevity but crucially, your years of healthy, optimised activity.
That's our task, and we're delighted to have you join our supportive and inclusive community.
An international corporate career can take its toll on both your mental and physical health. This combined with the unnecessarily sad loss of his father was a major catalyst for Julianβs mission: to help people feel better for longer. Taking Cannaray's "core" supplements business to its category-leading position was just the start. Evolving to include innovative and life-changing wellness products was the next step, and now in launching this new medical division Cannaray Wellness, Julian hopes to help thousands of people optimise their health, feel better and live healthier for longer.
Dr Julian Birch graduated from Brighton & Sussex Medical school in 2013, where he also completed a degree in Experimental Psychology. After working in London as a junior doctor, he completed his GP training in Oxford, and then worked in GP surgeries and the Out of Hours services in the Thames Valley, before starting work as a full-time NHS GP in 2020. He has an interest in Dermatology, looks after a nursing home, and is the practice lead for cancer and end of life care.Β
Alongside his NHS practice, Dr Birch also has expertise in prescribing medical cannabis and looks after patients in the UK and Channel Islands. This role has been eye-opening to the importance of personalised holistic care, and the recognition that conventional treatments do not work for all.Β
Dr Birch has always had an interest in patient safety, and as the medical director for Cannaray Wellness, is keen to ensure high-quality and safe care to all patients. He is looking forward to leading the team as they aim to make a positive impact on patient's lives.Β
Outside of work, he is the proud cat-dad to 3 ragdolls. When they allow him out of the house, he also "enjoys" supporting Arsenal, playing hockey and cricket, and tending his allotment!Β
