10. Identity Verification
Where a treatment involves the prescribing of a prescription-only medicine (POM), we are legally required to verify your identity before dispensing.
This verification must be carried out before a prescription is fulfilled, by a member of our clinical team. We work with trusted verification partners.
To complete patient verification, the following details may be shared with these partners:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Residential address
If we are unable to verify your identity electronically, you may be asked to provide additional documents, such as a passport, driver’s licence, residence permit, or birth certificate. Any documents provided will be stored securely in compliance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Online Consultations
· Our treatments and services may require you to complete an online consultation questionnaire. This assessment asks questions about your health and wellbeing to allow our clinical team to determine whether a treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
· You must complete this consultation truthfully, accurately, and on your own behalf. If you are unsure about any aspect of your health, you should seek advice from your GP before completing the consultation.
· Our clinicians will rely on the answers you provide in making their professional assessment. Where appropriate, we may contact you for further information before confirming whether a treatment can proceed.
· You will also have the option to share details of your treatment with your GP as part of the consultation process. We recommend that you keep your GP informed of any new treatments or prescriptions.
12. Patient Registration
When you register with Cannaray Wellness, we create a secure electronic patient record, which may include:
- A copy of the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy you have accepted
- Your personal details
- Records of consultations, treatments, prescriptions, and test results
We are required to retain medical records for a minimum of eight years from the date of your last treatment or prescription.
It is your responsibility to keep your personal and medical information up to date. If your health status changes (e.g. a new diagnosis or medication), you must inform us promptly as this may affect your suitability for treatment.
You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details. If you suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission, please contact us immediately.
Each customer may only hold one account with Cannaray Wellness. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts where duplicate registrations are identified.
13. Purchasing Products
You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident to purchase from Cannaray Wellness. We currently only deliver to UK addresses. Orders placed using forwarding services may be cancelled to ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements.
Non-Prescription Products
Some wellness products may not require an online consultation. However, for certain over-the-counter medicines or regulated health products, a short consultation may be required. All sales are subject to availability. Where products are unavailable, we will notify you and refund any payment made.
Prescription-Only Medicines (POMs)
If your chosen treatment requires a prescription:
- A licensed prescriber will review your consultation and decide whether the treatment is safe and appropriate.
- You may be asked for additional information before a prescription is issued.
- If a prescription is not approved, you will not be charged.
- If approved, your prescription will be issued in your name and dispensed by our partner pharmacy.
Please note: professional codes of conduct and UK law may restrict the frequency and quantity of medication supplied.
Repeat Prescriptions
Prescriptions may be issued on a repeat basis, subject to clinical review. The number and duration of repeats are determined by our clinicians. Prescriptions will expire either when the authorised repeats have been used or when the maximum validity period (typically six months) has passed.
You will be notified before your prescription expires and advised on how to renew it. You may cancel or pause repeat prescriptions at any time via your account or by contacting customer services.
Payments for repeat prescriptions are taken in advance of dispensing. Once medication has been dispensed, we cannot issue refunds unless there has been an error with your order.
14. Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, profit, goodwill, or data.
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order will apply.
16. Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by English law. You may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there.
